Earlier this year Murder in the Cards won the ‘Crowned Heart’ award from InDTale Magazine for excellence. The International Review of Books today (10-3-2019) has added their award as well to the book. See below.
“P.I. Tom Logan is asked to help investigate a murder that happened at the same location in which he is currently having his second try at a honeymoon. A famous actress got pushed off a cliff in the Grand Canyon. He, along with his wife and newfound acquaintance, start to collect clues, but the local authorities take over before he can finish.
Back home, he is contacted by a new, well-known client, asking him to find out who is threatening his wife. To do so, they must attend the Halloween party the client has planned, where all the suspects are invited. It turns out, the two very different cases might be connected, and it is Tom Logan’s job to find out how.”
Review:
“Murder in the Cards was a proper mystery novel. It felt like I was reading one of Agatha Christie’s books or playing a round of Cluedo. The way everything was connected and how even minute details played such an important part was both creative and impressive. The solution to the mystery was hard to guess, which was a pleasant surprise to me as a reader.”
“A great mystery that was unpredictable with an answer that was hard to guess. Refreshing.” – The International Review of Books
